Hazelynn handmade jewellery crafted with love

The beads used to make Hazelynn jewellery.
MIRI: Hazel Teo has always been attracted to gemstone jewellery while Violynn Siaw has an innate love of working with her hands.
Both have never studied jewellery-making but resigned from their jobs in marketing and human resources to start their signature line of handmade jewellery.
They named their collaboration ‘Hazelynn’, launching their handmade jewellery online via their website www.hazelynn.com in 2015.
They drew inspiration for their creations from the places they visited, people they met at their weekly pop-up booth, as well as love stories they heard.
Craftsmanship is an integral part of the business. Not only do Teo and Siaw go from design to production under one roof, every piece is hand-strung by both of them who care about each piece and love what they do.

Customisation is a crucial factor and every piece of jewellery is hand-strung and knotted to order.
A small mistake towards the end can result in the necklace or bracelet being taken apart and re-knotted. Individuality is embraced in every piece of the jewellery as none of the gemstones or pearls used are exactly the same.
Hazelynn jewellery is also available in stores in Miri: Creative Bazaar at Bintang Megamall, Baby Stork at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall and Pangoroom at Boulevard Shopping Mall.
Not matter whether for their loyal following of repeat customers or men discovering the line for the first time, Hazelynn jewellery effortlessly combines elegance and wearability, balancing current fashion trends with timeless style. Highly sought after products include ‘Duchess’ which is made with tiger eye stones and pearls and ‘The Classics’ leather bracelets.
The duo are currently collaborating with a Young Living Essential Oil distributor to create diffuser jewellery which allows essential oil lovers to enjoy their favourite scent while on the go.
Through exposure to body temperature via the diffuser jewellery worn, the essential oils will naturally diffuse into the surrounding air. In addition to being a great alternative to perfume, diffuser jewellery enables wearers to receive the health benefits of essential oils throughout the day.
Treat yourself to a unique piece of handmade jewellery or have one custom-made at their booth from Jan 5 to 8 at Miri Trade Fair at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall.
You can also bring your favourite essential oils to custom-make your diffuser jewellery on the spot. To make an appointment, call 019-3579696 or 019-3576993.
